Commonwealth Scholarship for Masters students

These Commonwealth scholarships are for scholars who want to follow a full-time study at a university in the UK.

The grant will promote bilateral relations and inject a stream of excellence from beneficiaries from Commonwealth countries.

To be eligible:

You must:

  • Guarantee the existence of a connection between your home country and your proposed British university.
  • Be accessible to start your program in September 2020.
  • Holds a diploma of at least second class higher or second class lower honour with a relevant postgraduate qualification.
  • Not being able to study in the UK without this scholarship.
  • Hold citizenship or be granted refugee status by one of the Commonwealth countries.
  • Be a permanent resident of an eligible Commonwealth country.

 

Selection criteria

All applications for the Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships are measured based on the following criteria:

  • Quality and plan to study
  •  The academic strength of the candidate
  • Possible effect on the development of the candidate’s country of origin

 

Worth of Commonwealth Scholarship for Master’s student

  •  Airline tickets from home country to the UK and return at the end of the award excluding trips made before confirming the award.
  •  Tuition fees.
  • The living allowance is paid monthly with the reimbursement for warm clothing.
  • There is a subsidy for the costs of a study-related journey within the UK or abroad.

The Commonwealth shared Scholarships are for people who want to follow a full-time master’s degree at selected universities in the UK.

Courses within the framework of this scholarship program are aimed at creating catalytic responses among beneficiaries who will stimulate economic growth.

Commonwealth Medical scholarship

These scholarshi[ are intended for middle-level staff with a strong desire to improve their clinical skills.

This medical staff will be initiated into superior and practical ways of dealing with medical problems. More than 35,000 people have been through this fellowship since its inception.

To be eligible:

  • Be a citizen or refugee of an eligible Commonwealth country or a British protected person.
  • Living in an eligible Commonwealth country.
  • Have an academic appointment in an eligible Commonwealth country at one of the medical schools recognized by the World Directory of Medical Schools.
  • Has acquired a job at a hospital that is affiliated with the Medical School where you have an academic appointment.
  • Take advantage of your fellowship in the UK in January 2020
  • Have doctoral qualification as a doctor before October 1, 2004.
